VIE Festival 2020

VIE Festival reaches its fifteenth edition.

One of the most important events, where the contemporary is reflected in different artistic expressions: theatre, dance, music, performance.

Essential for the artists guest of the Festival is to explore the points of connection, creating interactions, between the performing arts.

VIE Festival sees the production and co-production of original works, created specifically for the occasion, which will then be included in an international circuit .

This year, VIE Festival is part of a season, 'Bye Bye '900?', focused on the relationship with the twentieth century, investigating its legacy, between ideologies, myths and utopias.

In this sense, the Festival will focus its analysis on the relationship with Europe and the relationship between this great organism and the values ​​of democracy.

During the inauguration (21/02, Teatro Storchi, Modena), two internationally renowned scholars, Donald Sassoon (Great Britain) and Fernando Savater (Spain), will give the public a thought on these themes, alternating moments of reading curated and created by the actor Lino Guanciale.
