Thanks to the consolidated success of past editions, La Bonissima has become an unmissable event for all gourmets. About thirty Modena food and wine producers will exhibit their products in Piazza Grande, often difficult to find in stores because the limited quantity produced makes distribution difficult.

The event will take place in the heart of the historic center of Modena: Piazza Grande.

The legend:

The Bonissima is an important symbol for the city of Modena.

Its original location was in front of the tax office. For some it represented the Bona Estima , that is, the place of trade, of appraisal/measurement, but also of the exchange of loans.

According to another more widespread legend, however, she was a rich woman who, during a period of famine, helped the population. When the famine ended, the woman wanted to celebrate in her palace by inviting all the people. From that moment on, she became the Bonissima for everyone. This legend was strengthened by the identification of a bag in what is a fold of her dress.
